What is single origin coffee?

Single origin coffee is coffee sourced from a single country, region, farm or producer group. It highlights the unique characteristics of that origin, including variety, processing and growing conditions, allowing the natural flavour of the coffee to be expressed.

How is single origin coffee different from Paradox core blends?

Single origin coffees come from a single identifiable source, such as a farm, region or producer group, and are selected to showcase the unique character of that place in the cup. Our Paradox core blends are crafted using coffees from multiple origins, carefully combined to create balance, consistency and a familiar flavour profile year round.

What makes Paradox single origin coffees different?

Our single origin coffees are selected as standout micro lots from around the world, chosen for their quality, seasonality and unique character. Each release is curated by our Head Roaster Yogesh, who selects and roasts every coffee with intention to bring out its best expression in the cup. We focus on producers pushing quality forward, experimental processing and coffees that showcase something distinct, interesting and memorable in every release.

How do your monthly single origin releases work?

At the start of each month, we release three single origin coffees: a limited release filter, a filter coffee and an espresso coffee. Each coffee is carefully selected and roasted to highlight its unique expression in the cup. Every release comes with a wrap and information card featuring brew guidance, along with details on the farm, producer and country of origin. We also offer a Single Origin Selection Box, featuring 200g of each coffee, so you can explore the full monthly range.

What sizes are your single origin coffees available in?

Our limited release filter coffee is available in 200g only. Our filter and espresso single origin coffees are available in 200g and 1kg bags.

What is the Single Origin Subscription?

Our subscription delivers our monthly single origin coffees straight to your door, giving you access to each new release as it drops.

What are Special Release Single Origins?

Special Release Single Origins are rare, limited coffees released at select times throughout the year. They are roasted to order, part of a numbered series, and available in custom packed 100g tins.
