Meet the incredible team behind Paradox Coffee Roasters

Having owned his own café before, Ben brings valuable firsthand experience to our QLD sales team. His dedication to coffee and the industry shines through as he tirelessly supports our café partners, offering guidance and mentorship. With his down-to-earth, friendly nature, Ben is a true friend to everyone he encounters.

Where are you from?

I grew up on a dairy farm on the Far South Coast of NSW.

How did you get started in the coffee industry?

My first entry into the coffee industry was when I took a job at the Australian-owned Brickwood Coffee & Bread in London. Back then, I knew absolutely nothing about coffee and started out on the floor and in the kitchen.

What do you love about coffee?

I love all types of coffee and appreciate that there are always people out there pushing the boundaries of what can be done. I also love that it is a social focal point for us in Australia. I am very much a morning person and always look forward to that first cup of coffee, whether it is at home, at a café with friends, or down at the beach watching the sunrise.

Favourite coffee right now?

My favourite coffee over the past few years has been some of the Colombian Pink Bourbons we have featured in our Paradox Single Origin program.
