Peru La Palestina Geisha Zobeida Alarcon

Coffee

La Palestina Geisha is an exceptional Limited Release coffee from Jose and Zobeida Alarcón. The Alarcón family has cultivated coffee at Finca La Palestina, in San José de Alto, Cajamarca, Peru, since 1951.

2022 marked the first Geisha harvest at Finca La Palestina. This lot, La Palestina III, was produced on a small one-hectare plot. The cherries are mechanically pulped, dry/wet fermented for 24 hours, then washed and dried in a solar dryer on raised pallets.

This coffee is bright and elegant with Jasmine florals undertones, sparkling pink grapefruit and lime flavour notes. With a fruity sweetness and a refined Red tea finish, this is a truly remarkable expression of Geisha.

Brazil Rare Peaberry Renato Rodrigues

Coffee
This exceptional fully washed coffee comes from Daye Bensa’s farm in the picturesque village of Shantawene, located in Ethiopia’s renowned Sidama region. Established in 2006 by brothers Asefa and Mulugeta Dukamo, Daye Bensa supports local farmers, many of whom are women, through education and training to enhance productivity and quality. The cooperative operates 15 washing stations across three districts, sourcing cherries from both its own farm and out-growers in surrounding villages.

The handpicked cherries are washed and dried on traditional African raised beds to preserve their unique characteristics. This coffee has a fruity acidity and delicate floral profile with clean and complex notes of bergamot, nectarine, and plum.

Brazil Rare Peaberry Renato Rodrigues

Coffee

This rare peaberry coffee comes from Fazenda Vista Alegre in Brazil’s Piatã region, located between two mountain ranges near Chapada Diamantina National Park. With altitudes ranging from 1200 to 1400 MASL, the microclimate in this region provides the perfect conditions for exceptional coffee cultivation.

Renato Rodrigues and his family are committed to sustainability, producing this organic coffee using traditional methods. The peaberries which represent only 5 to 10% of the harvest, are carefully sorted and hand-peeled before being dried on raised beds.

This coffee is sweet and creamy with a delicate acidity and nutty finish. Explore delicious notes of kiwi, toasted hazelnut, and cookies & cream in this unique origin.
